In Term 3, Year 6 will be undertaking a very exciting Unit of Inquiry – The Year 6 Market. During this unit of work, children will work together to formulate ideas, budget for, plan and run a successful market stall.
To engage the students we have planned an excursion to Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne. Students will be put into small groups and will undertake a one hour guided tour. They will learn first hand from the market traders what it is like to be a stall holder. They will also have time to explore the market stalls with their supervising adult.Please arrive at school at 8.30am for an 8.45am departure.
